This Privacy Policy explains how BeRex ("BeRex," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information in connection with our website and our communications with you, including text (SMS) messages.

  • Basic technical data that is collected automatically when you visit the site, such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you visit.

3. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to your inquiries and provide customer support;
  • Prepare and provide quotes and process orders;
  • Send you service-related communications, including text (SMS) messages, about your inquiries, quotes, orders, and support requests.

Sales inquiries are handled through sales@berex.com and technical support through support@berex.com.

4. No Sale or Sharing of Personal Information

We do not sell, rent, or share consumer personal information, including phone numbers, with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or lead-generation purposes.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

5. Text Messaging (SMS)

We send text (SMS) messages only to people who have given us their consent to receive them. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP. For help, reply HELP or contact us at sales@berex.com.

6. Service Providers

We use trusted vendors to help us operate our business — for example, website hosting, email, and phone/SMS services. These service providers process information only on our behalf and under our instructions, solely to provide services to us. They are not permitted to use your information for their own marketing purposes. This is consistent with, and does not contradict, Section 4 (No Sale or Sharing of Personal Information).

8. Data Retention and Security

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy or as required by law, and then delete or de-identify it. We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against loss, misuse, and unauthorized access.

California residents: We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law.

10. International Data Transfers

Because BeRex operates in the United States and Korea and serves customers worldwide, your personal information may be processed in the United States, Korea, and other countries where BeRex or its service providers operate.

Transfers of personal information between BeRex entities are made only to respond to inquiries, provide quotes, orders, samples, and support, and to operate our business. These transfers are never made for marketing by a third party, and they never include text messaging (SMS) opt-in data or consent. This is consistent with, and does not contradict, Section 4 (No Sale or Sharing of Personal Information).

Where personal information is transferred across borders, we apply appropriate safeguards required by applicable law, such as contractual protections (for example, Standard Contractual Clauses) where required.

11. International Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal information, to withdraw consent, and to request data portability. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@berex.com. We will verify your identity and respond within the timeframes required by applicable law. We will not discriminate against anyone for exercising their rights.

European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Switzerland

We rely on the following legal bases for processing personal information:

  • Performance of a contract or pre-contract steps, such as preparing quotes and processing orders;
  • Legitimate interests, such as responding to business inquiries and operating and securing the site;
  • Consent, where required (for example, SMS and non-essential cookies), which you may withdraw at any time;
  • Legal obligations, such as export compliance and tax.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Korea

In line with the Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA), the following additional information applies to individuals in Korea:

  • Items collected and purposes: see Section 2 (Information We Collect) and Section 3 (How We Use Information).
  • Retention period: personal information is destroyed without delay once its purpose is achieved, unless retention is required by law.
  • Destruction method: electronic files are deleted using methods that prevent recovery, and paper records are shredded.
  • Entrustment of processing: our service providers (for example, hosting, email, and phone/SMS) process personal information on our behalf under contract. See Section 6 (Service Providers).
  • Overseas transfer: personal information may be transferred to and stored in the United States by BeRex, Inc. for the purposes described above.

You have the right to file a complaint with the Personal Information Protection Commission (PIPC) or the Korea Internet & Security Agency (KISA) privacy center (privacy.kisa.or.kr, dial 118).

Residents of other countries and regions (for example, Japan, China, Taiwan, Canada, and other U.S. states) may have additional rights under local law. Contact us at privacy@berex.com and we will honor applicable rights.

12. Children's Privacy

Our website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.
